SkillPort UAE was started by a small group of immigrants who travelled over 4,800 miles abroad more than 25 years ago. They left their homes with big dreams, and through hard work, honesty, and determination, they built their careers in the UAE. Today, these founders are settled professionals and successful entrepreneurs in this country.
After years of living and working in this region, they clearly saw a major problem: Millions of skilled and low-skilled workers across Asia and Africa are looking for better opportunities, while UAE companies need reliable workers.
